Tuff Terrain Adjustable Vehicle Door Step

Where does the door step attach?

It hooks onto the metal striker (the U-shaped latch loop) on your door frame. The scissor-locking mechanism clamps down for a firm hold. It grips the striker itself, not the paintwork, so nothing bolts on and nothing stays behind once you're done.

Will it scratch or damage my vehicle?

The contact point is a moulded plastic foot designed to protect the paint on your door frame. It rests against the frame rather than digging in. Fold it away in the carry bag between uses to keep the platform clean.

How much weight can it hold?

The door step is rated to 180kg and is wide enough to support both feet, so it suits most adults in work boots or camp shoes. Always step up with the door fully open and the step seated on the striker.

Will it fit my 4WD?

Two adjustable heights let it suit front and rear doors across most 4WDs, wagons and utes. Check that your door has an exposed metal striker, as some vehicles with plastic-shrouded latches may need the higher setting to seat properly.
