The Tuff Terrain MRBF terminal fuse block gives your DC setup solid high amp protection so your gear stays wired right from coast to campsite. The fuse block carries between 30 and 300 amps so you can run DC main feeds inverters windlass or bow thruster circuits without overloading the hardware. The compact footprint at 61 x 20 x 44.5 mm lets you tuck the gear into tight battery corners on boats or four wheel drives.

The isolated M8 stud takes standard nuts and washers so replacements are simple when you are out in the bush. The stud accepts 5/16" ring terminals which keeps your cables clamped square and secure. The mounting foot drops straight over 3/8" studs so it lines up with common marine and vehicle battery posts. The red insulating cap covers the live terminal so stray tools do not create a short. Fuse selection stays flexible because the block partners with MRBF terminal fuses.

Does this fuse block include the MRBF fuse?

No, the MRBF fuse is sold separately. This block functions as the terminal base that the fuse mounts on. You can choose the correct 30–300A fuse value for your system. That way your circuit protection matches the cable size and load.

What cable terminals does the block accept?

The block accepts 5/16" ring terminals. This covers common battery and inverter cable lugs. The flat contact faces keep the ring terminals clamped evenly. That helps maintain low resistance joints under vibration.

Where can I use this fuse block?

You can use this block on DC main feeds inverters windlass motors or bow thrusters within ratings. The 48V limit suits many marine and vehicle systems. The compact footprint suits battery boxes and helm stations. Always follow your electrician or installer’s wiring standards.

Can I stack more than one cable on the stud?

Yes, the isolated stud design permits stacking of multiple ring terminals. The M8 hardware set secures the stack under the nut. Just keep within the current rating of 30–300A and your cable sizing rules. Tighten the hardware to the torque specified by your installer.

Is the fuse block ignition protected?

Yes, the fuse block is ignition protected when you pair it with a matching MRBF terminal fuse. This matters in engine rooms and battery lockers where flammable vapours may exist. The design contains arcs within the fuse assembly. Always mount and orient the gear as per MRBF fuse manufacturer guidance.
