• Clear cover keeps fuses visible

Tuff Terrain’s MRBF terminal fuse block bolts straight onto your battery stud, which gives you solid high-amp protection for mains feeds, inverters or anchor winches. The compact body fits tight battery trays as the insulated cap covers the live stud to stop accidental shorts when you are working around the bank. The isolated M8 post takes standard 5/16" lugs, meaning you can stack gear without messy overlaps.

The matching 8-way positive fuse block pulls your smaller ATO/ATC circuits into one tidy spot, which makes fault finding and upgrades a lot simpler. Single-side wire entry keeps the footprint slim on crowded boards from the bush to the beach. Tin-plated copper buses handle the current day after day, as the clear cover and label kit show you exactly which circuit pops a fuse. Fuses sell separately, Terms and conditions apply.

Q: Are any fuses supplied with this Tuff Terrain bundle?

A: No, both blocks come without fuses. This lets you match fuse values to each circuit’s actual load and cable size. You select MRBF fuses for the terminal block based on main feed current. You then choose ATO/ATC blade fuses for each way on the 8-way block. This approach keeps protection accurate for your specific setup.

Q: Can I use the MRBF terminal fuse block on a 12V or 24V system?

A: Yes, the MRBF terminal fuse block suits 12V and 24V systems as it carries a 48V DC maximum rating. The voltage rating simply states the upper safe limit. Operation at 12V or 24V sits well within that boundary. Current rating remains the main selection factor for each MRBF fuse.

Q: What terminals fit the MRBF block and the 8-way block?

A: The MRBF block accepts 5/16" ring terminals on an M8 stud while the 8-way block accepts ring or snap-fork terminals on its M4 hardware. This combination supports common automotive and marine lugs. You can terminate battery, inverter and accessory cables with standard crimp lugs. Correct crimping and strain relief still remain important.

Q: Is the 8-way fuse block suitable for marine or outdoor use?

A: The 8-way block uses tin-plated copper buses and clips, which help resist corrosion in damp or salt-laden air. The clear cover also shields the fuse contacts from direct spray and debris. You still mount it in a reasonably protected spot. Good installation practice extends service life in harsh environments.

Q: What is the total current capacity of the 8-way positive fuse block?

A: The 8-way positive fuse block carries 100A total with a limit of 30A per circuit. This means the sum of all branch currents should not exceed 100A. Individual fuses on each circuit must not exceed 30A. Planning your accessory loads around these numbers keeps the bus within its rating.
